The expedition 'Unexplored Antarctica 2018-19' traveled on a rectangular route one of the most unknown territories on Earth, being the expeditionaries four Spanish with a wide polar experience: Ramón Larramendi, Hilo Moreno, Ignacio Oficialdegui and Manuel Olivera. Ramón Hernando de Larramendi is the inventor of the vehicle and director of the expedition. The objective has been threefold: to demonstrate that the Wind Sledge overcomes the most adverse conditions while carrying 2000 Kg on board, to travel a very complex area returning to the starting point (and ascending to the Fuji Dome, never before reached without motorized means of transport) and to make the journey with leading projects at the scientific level, from Spanish and international institutions.
