The current climate emergency evidences the importance of developing an environmentally friendly and circular economy based on biotechnology, a concept known as bioeconomy. Joint efforts are researching this trending and vital topic. However, for these developments to significantly impact society, one must consider their market entry and widespread use.

Maurizio Bettiga is an expert in bioeconomy and biofuels with an experience of more than 15 years of researching these topics and transferring them to the market.

It also is organized with the support of Biotecnologi Italiani, Nouvelle Génération des Biotechnologistes (NGB), the Dutch Biotechnology Association (NBV) and the Association of Young Biotechnologists AYB.
