BIO-Building Yourself Program is about How to develop your own strategies to face the industry world. It is a pilar exclusive program for the YEBN members, but we decided to open to other non-members too!

The aim of this program is to provide a series of three sessions where professionals are going to help you to identify your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats as a person and professional. With the aim to help them design their own strategy and how to look for career options in the industry, and skills that need to be developed to face the professional world, sharing their experience and advice.

SESSION 1. 7th May, 18:00 pm Online. How to identify your professional SWOT strategy

An expert who helps to identify the major points of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analyses that every professional has to go through and how to use this analysis to create a personal strategy.

SESSION 2. 14th May, 18:00 pm Online. How to detect opportunities in the industry

After the first session, here an expert who shows the current panorama of different positions that exists in the industry, will give you adviced about wich positions could fit best with your profile.

SESSION 3. 21th May, 18:00 pm Online. How to develop your professional skills

After identifying yourself and setting up the target you want to reach, now is the moment wich are the main skills that need to be developed. And how to prepare your personal plan to develop your key skills. Here the expert will tell you about his journey from failed PhD researcher to entrepreneur in cutting edge biotech areas - Learnings focused on things we do not learn in classrooms.
