We are pleased to inform you that we will be opening a new Unit within the framework of Movement Disorders next May. It will be dedicated to "Tics, Tourette Syndrome and Associated Conditions".

It is an urgent need not only in Catalonia, but even at the level of the Spanish state since there is none like it, neither in public nor private medicine.

The collective of people affected by Tourette Syndrome (TS) often feel very disoriented and do not know where to turn to receive the comprehensive care they require. Their symptoms are sometimes complex, and associated with tics they often have bursts of lack of control, attention deficit, or high abilities, among others. If the diagnosis and treatment are not well directed, they can end up in school, professional, and social failure.

This new Unit is oriented following our philosophy of the multi and interdisciplinary approach to neurological diseases.

The conference will be in Catalan and/or Spanish. Questions may be asked and answered in English.
