Description
The Añora City Council (Córdoba) and the Nauran Mycological Association organize the second edition of the Amanita Ponderosa Fair in Los Pedroches, to publicize this species of mushroom widely spread in our region and highly valued in cuisine for its fantastic organoleptic characteristics. The program is as follows:
- 8:30 - BREAKFAST
- 9:00 - DEPARTURE TO THE FIELD
- 12:00 - CONFERENCE: Poisoning due to mushroom consumption. Possible confusions of the Amanita ponderosa (Gurumelo) by Juan de Dios Reyes García. Official veterinarian of the Ministry of Health and Consumer Affairs of the Government of Andalusia. President of the Lactarius Mycological Association of Jaén.
- 13:00 - SHOWCOOKING: Gurumelo and Iberian products from La Dehesa by CARLOS FERNANDEZ MORENO, chef and CEO of the KARAN BISTRÓ Restaurant (Bib Gourmand of the Michelin Guide since 2024 and a Sol Repsol since 2023). Pairing with wines from Montilla-Moriles and Los Pedroches.
- 15:00 - LUNCH (Rice with gurumelos)
