Today we want to introduce you to some Greek wines, with Retsina as the best-known wine, by Spiros i Mireia from Satyrs Wine.
SATYRS is an importer and distributor of artisan Greek wine in Spain. We only work with wine made in the traditional way by small producers and using autochthonous Greek varieties. All wines are organic, ferment spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, and are made with minimal intervention.
SATYRS was born from the weakness that we share for artisan wine as a concept and as a philosophy. SATYRS we are two people in love with artisan wines , a Catalan and a Greek, Mireia and Spiros, two motivated people who have made our passion our day to day.
Out of curiosity, one day the question arose : are artisanal wines made in Greece? – There began our journey to answer it, first documenting ourselves through our own research and later moving to Greece to discover it first hand.
We will taste FIVE wines.
