The Vidbertus's Garrut from 'la Conca de Barberà'

On Wednesday you can taste a 100% Garrut, the 996 from Celler Vidbertus, a family project for making quality wines. Native varieties and own harvest with DO Conca de Barbera, at the south-eastern end, inland region of the Camp de Tarragona, the central Catalan depression behind the mountain range of the Tarragona coastline. The altitude of the estate is above 500 meters above sea level.
The quintessential variety of la Conca is the Trepat, we will taste two versions and we can vinify it as white, rosé or red. We also have black and white Grenache vineyards, very typical of the territory. At the same time we have varieties such as Parellada and Garrut or Monastrell. All of them allow us to produce signature wines with high quality DO Conca de Barberà.
The price of the reservation includes a bottle of Entre2 (white) or Cup3 (red), two of the wines we will taste, valued at 15 €, to take home after tasting. Difficult decision to make in the end,
