The panel discussion is an opportunity to get perspectives on the discourse about racism, especially in Europe today. Are we over-dramatizing its significance or are we unable to appreciate its impact? With panelists from a variety of contexts, our aim is to engage the points of view of victims, observers, unintended supporters and perpetrators.
Moderator Livingstone Thompson is an experienced intercultural trainer with specialties across a variety of corporate fields. He brings a wealth of knowledge and skills in intercultural communication and dialogue, diversity management and conflict resolution.
His international speaking engagements in the fields of diplomacy, culture and religion have taken him to a number of countries, conferences and educational institutions in United Kingdom, United States, Europe, Africa and the Caribbean. Livingstone holds a M.A. in Philology from University of Chicago, M.A. in Philosophy from Trinity College in Dublin, PhD in Religious Pluralism from Trinity College in Dublin. His professional involvement includes serving as president of the SIETAR Europa.
Patricia Malidor Coleman is the founder of A-Z World Connections,Inc. an Intercultural Consulting & Educational Services firm based in Florida USA. She is a coach, trainer and international speaker specializing in Cross-Cultural consulting and Diversity & Inclusion training focusing in empowering women to leverage their differences as she has due to her multicultural, bi-racial and international experience profile.
Papa Balla Ndong, from Senegal, is a Human Migration Expert and holds a Masters degree in International
Migration from the faculty of Psychology, University of Valencia. He has worked in Solans Lawyers Office,
specializing in Foreign Law and participated in training courses in the General Council of the Spanish
Judicial Power ( CGPJ). Currently he performs the following charges: President of the Alternative Forum on
Immigration, Coordinator of the Citizens Assembly Against Racism, Accredited Intercultural Mediator from
Valencia Government, General Secretary of SOS Racisme Pais Valencia, Vice President of the Local Council of
Immigration and Interculturality of the City of Valencia.
