Diversity Icebreaker – a Tool for Diversity Management and Inclusion – Train-the-Trainer Workshop
Diversity Icebreaker (DI) is a training tool used in various areas of intercultural consultation: team and project work, communication, leadership, diversity management and kick-off sessions.
DI is often the "tool-of-choice" in work with intercultural teams and organizations, because it provides a fast-track to build a third culture and enhance interpersonal communication. The cultural differences are not a topic per se in DI - the tool focuses on creating a language and understanding of diversity that is functional and cuts across the cultures. It diversifies to unify.
The workshop will be a combination of a standard DI workshop (first 1 h) and a train-the-trainer session in using the tool (remaining 3 h).
The tool is of Norwegian origin and it is used all over the world, with close to 1000 facilitators, HR-specialists and consultants active in our user-database.

Facilitators and trainers participating in the session will first experience a real Diversity Icebreaker workshop (first 1 h) - just the way the "regular" participants in workshops do. It will be the starting point for the latter train-the-trainer part, during which the facilitation of DI with various groups and in different areas will be discussed in detail.
